Case Study
The Problem:
I need to practice my photoshop. I recently learned how to make my own brushes and made a cloud/ fog brush. I desperately wanted a project to use it on. But what do I make?
The Solution:
I began searching through my photos and found a photo of my brother and I from a camping trip years ago. This was the perfect candidate for using my new homemade brush.
The Approach:
I began by cutting out my brother and I. I then built the environment and but the object on our hands. Then I got to work on the fog with my new brush. I loved the way it came out. I also learned a new rain technique and wanted to try, so I did that next. Then I got to lighting and shadows. And now here we are.
The Learnings:
I learned alot. I learned new techniques, like blend-if, overlays, rain, making brushes, and others. This was such a fun project especially with how cool it turned out, and now I think it is one of my favorite photoshop projects. I want to improve upon my rain splashes, something that I haven't tried before and it was difficult. Ill work on that for next time.
